| Gordon House (1932-2004) born in Pontardawe, South Wales. Artist, designer and teacher. The Tate Gallery holds more than 100 of his prints and his work is also represented in many important public collections, including the Arts Council, the British Council, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Gordon House was a driven man, a workaholic who produced unique and unmistakable images, apparently abstract, but leaning heavily on visual sources.
David Buckman
There were very few artists who were equally comfortable and talented at being both a painter and a graphic designer, and Gordon House was one such.
Sir Peter Blake
